The Bose Solo Soundbar Series II uses unique Bose transducers and proprietary DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology to bring out audio details that cannot be reproduced by most built-in TV speakers. The result is that you simply hear your TV better.

The Bose Solo Soundbar Series II is designed for use with any TV with an optical audio output (most HDTVs and many older “analogue” TVs) and can be connected with the included optical cable.
The soundbar can also be connected to TVs with coaxial (RCA) or auxiliary analogue (3.5 mm) connections (connection cables not included).
The Bose Solo Soundbar Series II has optical, coaxial, and analogue (3.5 mm) audio inputs. You will only connect to one of these, depending on what type of output your TV has. It is not possible to “switch” between these different inputs, so only one connection is required.
Any device with an optical, analogue audio, or coaxial output can be connected to the Bose Solo Soundbar Series II. However, Bose strongly recommends that you only connect the soundbar to your TV’s audio output, so sound and picture will always be in sync.
